Festival dates announced for 2010
The 2010 Victorian Seniors Festival will run from Sunday 3 October to Sunday 10 October. As ever, there will be hundreds of free and low cost activities and events so keep these dates free in your diary!
Registering your event for the 2010 Festival
If you would like to produce an event for Victorian seniors as part of the 2010 Festival, we’d love to hear from you. To register for the 2010 Festival your event needs to meet the following criteria:
- Open to all seniors in Victoria who hold a Victorian Seniors Card
- Held between 27 September - 17 October 2010
- Produced as a special event for Festival
- Free or discounted entry price for Victorian Seniors card holders.
Registering special offers for the 2010 Festival
The 2010 Festival events program will feature a Special Offer section listing special offers and discounts on attractions and events for Victorian Seniors Card holders during the 2010 Festival. Listings will be restricted to three lines: name of the attraction / event; the discounted price; and the contact number for bookings or more information.

Victorian Seniors Festival 2009: biggest festival yet!
Over 17,000 seniors and their families and friends gathered at Federation Square on the opening day of the 2009 Victorian Seniors Festival which ran from Sunday October 4 to Sunday October 11. The Festival, which featured over 1,000 free or low-cost events across metropolitan and regional Victoria again proved popular with strong turnouts at a number of events across the state. Highlights included free travel for Victorian Seniors Card holders; an exciting program in the city including opening day, the Melbourne Town Hall concert series and the daily Festival Hub; and more than 500 free and low cost events staged across the Victoria by the 79 local councils.
